04.

when i told someone close to me about the time you and i spent together in the summer of 2014, they laughed at me, both of us drunk (not you and me, she and i), and said holy shit, you are manipulative. and maybe i am, but i don’t think you didn’t know what you were getting into. i also don’t believe it’s something either of us regretted even if we’ve only just started talking again now. that talking picked up exactly where it’s always been: jumping back and forth between flirting and the serious consideration of ideas to make us better friends than we really are.

mischief is not necessarily a problem, and the kind of trouble we get ourselves into is the kind of trouble we like. it seems to reap more reward than it does punishment. Loki is a happy god and the entire Greek pantheon managed to live in both turmoil and affection.

it’s nice to see you.
